Miracle Motors is seeking a highly qualified Controller to oversee the accounting operations of our byrider dealerships. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller will manage all aspects of accounting and financial management, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations. This role demands high levels of integrity, financial acumen, and a strong commitment to providing outstanding service to our internal teams and external partners.

1. Oversee all financial operations including budget management, forecasting, financial analysis, cash flow, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable, audit procedures, and the accounting system overall
2. Manage daily operations of the acccounting department and cross-train in all accounting positions.
3. Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial reports in a timely manner, ensuring clear communication of financial metrics to senior management.
4. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
5. Implement and maintain sound accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
6. Collaborate with the CFO and operational management to provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues.
7. Monitor risk management policies and procedures to ensure that program risks are minimized.
8. Manage relationships with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
9. Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
10. Hire, train, develop, and retain skilled accounting staff.

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. (Master’s degree or CPA preferred)
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level accounting position, preferably within the auto dealership industry.
3. Proven expertise in managing cash flow, financial analysis, forecasting, strategic planning, budget management, and maintaining a general ledger.
4. Solid experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and control, general ledger, payroll, and accounting for investments.
5. Proficient in using accounting software, payroll software, and experience in automating financial processes.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
8. Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
