Area Leaders are responsible for:
- Understanding the restaurants’ vision and communicating the importance to the team.
- Ensuring that all procedures including opening, closing and safety & security are properly followed.
- Maintaining both a clean environment and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
- Being certified in all eTRAIN modules.
- Proactively seeking and initiating ideas to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Delegating tasks to others and seeing that they are completed in a timely manner.
- Handling personnel conflict in the appropriate manner and maintaining harmony with the team.
- Coaching/developing new and existing team members.
- Participating in leadership meetings.
- Demonstrating a willingness to come in early, stay late, cover shifts
- Regular meetings to discuss business results and adjustments to current operations.
- Annual evaluation and performance review.
- Personal ownership in the mentoring and development of new talent.
- Completion of systems on a daily/weekly/monthly schedule.
- Must have proven experience in a leadership capacity.
- Background in food service is desired but not necessary.
- Make sound leadership decisions
- Proactively affect operations
