Purchasing Assistant / Sales
Essential Job Functions:
· Compose customer quotations
· Fill out customer requested documents upon approval of department manager
· Obtain and compare supplier quotes and negotiate the costs
· Request and negotiate with suppliers for Annual Cost Reduction Activities
· Research potential new suppliers
· Coordinate ordering/receiving trial parts
· Prepare Engineering Change Notification (ECI) and Engineering Change Request (ECR)
· All other duties assigned by management

Education:
· REQUIRED: Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Industrial Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

· REQUIRED: Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, excellent oral and written communication skills and computer literate
· PREFERRED: Stamping environment experience and fluent in Japanese and English
