Looking for a reliable Forklift Driver to help maintain warehouse stock and assist in fulfilling orders. This is a first shift position (5:00am-3:30pm, Mon-Thurs with potential for overtime on Fridays). Our Forklift Drivers will be responsible for unloading product deliveries, staging products based on customer orders and assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory.
Preference will be given to candidates who are licensed to operate a forklift, available to work overtime hours during the busier times of the year and able to lift up to 100 pounds at a time. Time on the forklift versus time working on the dock floor is approximately 70% driving and approximately 30% on the dock floor.
Forklift Drivers assist in reviewing pick sheets based on customer orders and then pulling the right products for each order. Forklift Drivers load and unload delivery trucks and make sure that each incoming delivery matches the company purchase order. They collaborate with the inventory control and purchasing groups to determine when product is missing following deliveries.
