Minutemen is Hiring a Brake Press Operator Near Jeffersonville, IN
We are hiring for Brake Press Operators, Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm $17.50 OT as needed. Must be willing to work in any area. will be responsible for Operating a press brake to manufacture tools, equipment, and other components from sheet metal or metal plates. Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.
Job Duties:
Able to read and follow standard work/process sheets for position.
Inspects/measures steel upon receipt to verify quality and dimensions.
Moves into/out press & stamp / weld manufacturing supplies as needed.
Weighs up material, performs WIP receipts and puts materials in proper areas.
Manually load the unformed or partly formed parts into the machine press.
Operate machines or manually place Sheetmetal against guide pins to ensure it is accurately pressed.
Continually reviews job responsibilities, practices, and procedures to identify and suggest improvements that result in greater efficiencies.
Requirements:
Must have MIG or Robotic experience.
Walking, climbing stairs.
Twisting/bending/reaching.
Must be able to lift 60lbs. without assistance.
Must pass Press assessment.
