Our family-owned and operated Minuteman Press of Colorado Springs is seeking candidates with our company as a Graphic Designer, On-Call.

We offer training on being a graphic designer in a print environment, our proven process, and allow development within a high performing team. Once trained, you will be on-call when hours are available within your provided availability.

The position is best for someone with 1 years of experience within the print industry, digital printing preferred. We are looking for someone with experience and training in the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign and Illustrator. Great attention to detail and organizational skills of key importance. We are looking for quality of character as well as experience. The shift workflow would be mainly graphic design.

Minimum Qualifications required for consideration:

• College level courses in the Adobe Creative Suite; primarily InDesign and Illustrator with proficiency.
• 1 years of recent professional work experience in printing, preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Passion for print and promotional product design and production.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to effectively work in a team environment
• Professional appearance

Shift Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the preparation of existing files for print
• Modifying files to suit client needs
• Designing logos and print collateral
• Communicating courteously with clients to assist them with the creation of their jobs.
• Reviewing job specifications from work orders and ensuring that client files are accurate and the finished job exceeds customer expectations
