Description

• Post and reconcile daily cash receipts. 
• Assist with month end closing functions.
• Perform credit/collections activities for all accounts receivable. Includes determining appropriate course of action to be taken in order to collect balances, within the limits of standard practice.
• Contact customers or other interested parties to notify, collect and enforce terms of payment.
• Gather and prepare case information for legal or agency collection procedures.
• Setup all new customer accounts including running a D&B credit inquiry
• Establish credit limits for new customers and review credit limits for current customers
• Charge credit card orders and make final settlement with bank
• Contact customers regarding short payments/over payments
• Ensure compliance with all corporate policies related to credit function
• Process customer credits for volume and marketing rebates
• Process monthly account statements
• Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by the VP of Finance. 

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years related experience in accounting, bookkeeping or credit.
• Requires good telephone skills and an aggressive yet pleasant personality in dealing with customers.
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel/Outlook
• In depth knowledge of SAP ERP Accounts Receivable
