Now hiring a PCB Soldering Technician for a manufacturing company in Aurora for 1^st shift, 8:30am – 5pm.

Monday – Friday

Weekly pay ranging between $18 - $20 per hour, depending on experience.

The PCB Soldering Technician is responsible for the inspection and touch-up of Through-Hole parts and operate selective soldering machinery for corrections.

Job Duties:

• Touch-up/solder Through-Hole components and learn to touch-up SMT, Fine Pitch, SOIC, etc.
• Install complicated board modifications using a microscope.
• Follow work process instructions and specifications, both verbal and written.
• Perform visual inspection of PCB’s for IPC-A-610 workmanship requirements.
• Basic soldering and de-soldering with handheld soldering equipment.
• Track and request work supplies as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement and maintain a productive working relationship.
• Performs other duties as assigned including moving of material as needed.

Qualifications:

• MUST have prior experience with soldering, touch-ups, and Through-Hole components.
• MUST have previous Assembly experience.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a changing fast paced environment.
• High School diploma.
• Two years of electronic or mechanical assembly is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Lean Manufacturing experience highly desirable.
• Demonstrate dependability, flexibility, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow detailed technical instructions.
