Now hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a manufacturing company in Canton for 1st and 3rd shifts.
3rd shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:30pm – 5am ($19.79 per hour).
1st shift: Friday – Sunday, 5am – 5:30pm ($18.54 per hour).
Weekly pay.
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling conveyor belts using power tools and by following blueprint specifications.
Job Duties:
- Assemble conveyor belt systems according to blueprints by fitting and aligning components, frames, rollers, pulleys, and motors.
- Utilize a wide range of power tools and hardware to complete assemblies.
- Route electrical wiring, cables, and conduits through conveyor system.
- Conduct visual inspections and functional tests on assemblies to verify proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly activities and part usage to avoid shortages.
- Any other task requested by a supervisor.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Experience with power and hardware tools.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
