We are recruiting for a 1st shift Maintenance Lead for a steel manufacturer in Louisville, KY. The hours are 5:45a-2:15p Monday-Friday with overtime. Pay is weekly starting at $35.00 per hour. Maintenance Lead Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems, as well as teaching and coaching technicians' advancement. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Perform maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical and vehicle servicing. 
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Support for all plant machines and tooling as far as breakdowns, damages, plc troubleshooting, etc.
• Ensure that safety procedures are properly followed in all aspects of maintenance in the operation.
• Organize maintenance area - 5S all parts including spare parts 
• Maintain cleanliness of area to ensure safety and appearance of plant.
• Report any equipment abuse to Assistant Production Manager. 
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures.
  Perform preventive and predictive maintenance according to schedule.
• Constructs, maintains, and tests electrical systems and components.
  Diagnose mechanical and maintenance problems.
