Job Description:
The shared MBA/MAcc Online Programs Coordinator will work with the Faculty Director of the respective programs and University staff to develop and operationalize promotion, recruitment, and retention strategies. In addition, the candidate will provide advising to MBA/MAcc and graduate students from initial inquiry stage through graduation.
Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated high-level of comfort with phone, remote communications (e.g., Zoom, Teams) and face-to-face sales outreach.
  • Communication and interpersonal skill necessary to guide students.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle and process sensitive and confidential information.
  • Bachelors degree in a related field (conferred on an actual transcript at the time of application).
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in student/client recruitment, outreach, marketing and/or customer service activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge or experience with graduate, adult, and online students academic advising and related student service and academic needs.
  • Masters Degree (conferred on an official transcript at the time of application.)
Other Requirements:
  • Work safely at all times, which includes but is not limited to, participating and completing all required safety trainings, as well as performing all job tasks in accordance with Minnesota State University, Mankato policies and procedures utilizing appropriate tools, equipment and personal protective equipment.
  • Based on the essential functions of this positions, MMB Policy #1422, and University policies relating to flexible work, this position is eligible for the following work modes:
    • Telework: A position with a work arrangement that allows an employee to perform work on a regular basis at a telework location that is not the employees permanent/principal work location. Up to 50% of the time.
  • The successful candidate for this position must be able to carry, lift, set-up and take down the promotional displays and materials that weigh between 25-50 lbs.
