Job Description:
This position exists to facilitate clinical services, professional development and community partners through developing and selling professional services, professional development opportunities and training services to client organizations and to facilitate experiential learning for Communication Science & Disorders' undergraduate and graduate students through securing clinical site placements.
Required Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders (Speech-Language Pathology) (conferred on an official transcript at the time of application.)
  • Current Minnesota Department of Health license as Speech-Language Pathologist or eligible, American Speech-Language Hearing Certification of Clinical Competence and at least two years of experience in applied setting.
  • Knowledge of and experience in scheduling and billing procedures and/or ability to learn procedures.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively sufficient to develop professional and employee training services, products, programs, marketing materials and write proposals for contracts and grants to deliver them.
  • Ability to plan, organize and administer multiple projects, set priorities and schedule activities.
  • Ability to work with little direct supervision, within general guidelines and State policies, in a flexible and adaptable manner, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.
  • Skill in marketing clinical services and billing.
  • Knowledge of pricing structures for customized training.
Other Requirements:
Work safely at all times, which includes but is not limited to, participating and completing all required safety trainings, as well as performing all job tasks in accordance with Minnesota State University, Mankato policies and procedures utilizing appropriate tools, equipment and personal protective equipment.
