Job Description:
The Director of International Recruitment & Communications (IR&C) will lead the international recruitment strategies to identify, recruit, and enroll qualified new and transferring international students from abroad and within the US. This role develops, manages, coordinates, implements, and evaluates the international student recruitment activities at Minnesota State Mankato using data analytics and market research to effectively grow the international student population and number of countries represented. The Director of IR&C manages the communication plans, marketing, and I-20 issuance process along with the staff who directly work in these areas.
Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree plus four years of experience or Masters Degree plus three years of experience working in international education particularly recruitment and communication (Conferred on an official transcript at the time of application).

• Advanced knowledge of F-1 student visa regulations related to recruitment and I-20 issuance.

• Supervisory and management experience.

• Demonstrated budgetary experience.

• Ability to represent the Kearney International Center related to university initiatives in recruitment, communication, and marketing.

• Ability to serve as Designated School Office (DSO). must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.

• Demonstrated administrative, organization, and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously.

• Bilingual, with excellent oral and written communication skills in a language other than English.

Other Requirements:
Work safely at all times, which includes but is not limited to, participating and completing all required safety trainings, as well as performing all job tasks in accordance with Minnesota State University, Mankato policies and procedures utilizing appropriate tools, equipment and personal protective equipment.
Up to 40% of the time. Based on the essential functions of this positions, MMB Policy #1422, and University policies relating to flexible work, this position is eligible for the following work modes: Telework:A position with a work arrangement that allows an employee to perform work on a regular basis at a telework location that is not the employees permanent/principal work location.
Travel: 10% of the time, domestic and international.
