BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER
PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT
The City of Rosemount is accepting applications for a full-time Building Maintenance
Worker. Responsibilities include but are not limited to monitoring, maintaining, and
repairing City facilities and grounds, conducting preventive maintenance, operating light
to heavy machinery and equipment, and cleaning and sanitizing floors/bathrooms/walls.
Work is performed under the supervision of the Recreation Facilities Manager. The
anticipated work schedule will be primarily during the late afternoon, evenings, and
weekends with occasional weekday hours.
Minimum Qualifications. High school diploma or G.E.D. and one to three years of experience in
maintenance/repair work (or equivalent combination of education and
experience).
. Valid MN Driver’s License.
Desired Qualifications. Two or more years of experience in building maintenance.. One or more years of experience in community center/ice arena operations.. One or more years of experience operating ice re-surfacer.. US Ice Rink Association Certified Ice Technician certification.
Pay Range: $23.86 - $29.85 per hour, DOQ.
