Position Overview

Join Minnesota Mental Health Clinics as our Clinical Onboarding Coordinator and become the cornerstone of our new clinicians' journey! This pivotal role is designed to seamlessly integrate new clinical staff into our vibrant healthcare setting.

Your mission is to provide an enriching onboarding experience that aligns with our commitment to excellence in mental health services.

Essential Duties

Clinical Pre-Boarding Management

  • Serve as the go-to advocate for incoming clinical staff, delivering prompt resolutions to inquiries and offering a roadmap for their introductory phase.
  • Ensure meticulous completion and regulatory compliance of all onboarding documentation, establishing a solid foundation for each clinician's tenure.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Clinical Operations to orchestrate start dates and location placements that best fit the new clinician's expertise and our clinic's needs.
  • Facilitate the distribution of essential technical gear (e.g., laptops, monitors, and communication devices) to empower our clinicians for success.
  • Craft and personalize welcoming kits that reflect the value and support we provide to our clinicians from day one.

Recruitment to Clinical Handover

  • Champion a collaborative approach between recruiters and clinical leadership to ensure each clinician's entry is smooth and informed.
  • Act as a conduit for the transfer of pertinent information about incoming clinicians to the respective Clinical Leads, supporting role-specific onboarding strategies.
  • Maintain transparent and effective communication channels between Talent Acquisition and Clinical Leadership throughout the onboarding period.

Orientation & Training Facilitation

  • Design and conduct orientation sessions that highlight our clinic's ethos, operational policies, and the comprehensive benefits we offer.
  • Liaise with departmental leaders to tailor training initiatives, ensuring an impactful first week that integrates clinical hires into our health care family.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship to foster an environment where each clinician feels supported, valued, and equipped to provide exceptional care.

Engagement & Integration

  • Be the reassuring presence for our new clinicians, making their concerns your priority and their integration your success.
  • Instill a sense of community and anticipation, creating a nurturing atmosphere for our clinicians to thrive.
  • Celebrate and share the achievements of our clinicians across internal channels, underscoring the impact of their roles and contributions.

Onboarding Analytics & Documentation

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of our onboarding processes, inviting feedback, and championing enhancements for an ever-evolving induction experience.
  • Uphold the highest standards of compliance with our established policies and healthcare regulations.
