The Second Judicial District is accepting applications for a Judicial Law Clerk or Law Clerk I (student) for the Honorable Shawn Bartsh, who is chambered at the Ramsey County Courthouse at 15 W. Kellogg Blvd, Saint Paul, MN.
A Judicial Law Clerk position offers the opportunity to work within the Minnesota Judicial Branch at the trial court level, gain insight into judicial/court processes with a perspective on the administration of justice, and to sharpen your critical legal thinking/legal writing skills. The law clerk performs administrative, courtroom, and legal research/writing functions under the direct supervision of a district court judge.
The anticipated end date for this position is September 30, 2024.
This position requires in-person work but may include occasional flexibility to work remotely.
Rate of Pay:
Law school graduate - $31.24/hr minimum starting pay rate
Law school student - $23.60/hr minimum starting pay rate
