Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: M-F

Salary: $60,000 to $110,000 per year

About the Role

MEI, a Mankato based commercial elevator manufacturing and service company, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This multi-faceted position assisting with field support, new product design and automation assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Field engineering assistance
  • Read, interpret, and analyze technical specifications and drawings/plans
  • New product development
  • Designing elevator equipment using 3D modeling with AutoDesk Inventor
  • Creation of manufacturing drawings
  • Interfacing with manufacturing on manufacturability of designs
  • Bill of Material creation
  • Manufacturing automation development
  • Execute additional tasks as needed

Experience

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge of 2D and 3D drafting
  • Understanding of Autodesk Inventor or equivalent parametric engineering software
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
