About the Role

This position is responsible for the daily accounting functions and preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements.
• Supervise accounting functions of receivables, payables, and general administration.
• Oversee and prepare all account reconciliations.
• Gather and provide information to external auditors.
• Responsible for fixed asset accounting.
• Report on sales and use tax.
• Primary backup and support to the CFO
• Develop and maintain a written new hire orientation plan for new employees in this department.
• Supervise Accounting team
• Execute additional tasks as needed

Experience

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration, required.
• Ten years or more of related experience required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
