`Responsibilities:
- Be the brand ambassador for MplsMart.
- Maintain accurate employee and membership records and charges.
- Oversee purchasing for office expenses/equipment.
- Maintain and manage mart attendee’s list to ensure accuracy. Reach out to new stores.
- Direct and delegate the work of the Building Manager.
- Coordinate opening/closing tasks and front desk duties with Building Manager.
- Manage interior signs and buyer & rep badges.
- Organize internal advertising opportunities (Buyer’s Guide Ad, Shadow Box, Show Display and Bathroom Ad) with members.
- Coordinate website design and updates with Social Media contractor.
- Develop, edit, and update directories with Media Provision Creative.
- Be available to work during weekends for six shows and mart event (take time off at another time).
- Coordinate temp workers as needed for show prep, registration, and hospitality during shows.
- Act as leasing contact for prospective new leaseholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a wholesale or retail setting.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
- Computer proficiency (word and Excel)
