Position Summary:

This position will evaluate and treat routine, and complex dental procedures consistent with professional standards of care and applicable accreditation and certification guidelines. The incumbent will provide routine dental services including examining, cleaning, bonding, root canals, fillings, extractions, restorations, dentures, and non-surgical periodontal treatment. Responsibilities include maintaining appropriate dental records, purchasing disposable supplies and capital equipment, assisting in the administration of a clinic operating budget, and supervising technician staff.

Essential Functions:

• To exemplify the Ministry of Caring mission and values.
• Performs dental examinations of teeth and surrounding hard and soft tissue utilizing radiographic, clinical techniques according to ADA guidelines.
• Reviews medical history records to determine dental treatment needs and limitations.
• Provides dental services including but not limited to cleaning, scaling, simple restorative care, minor oral surgery, pulp therapy for endodontic treatment, simple crown and bridge services, complete and partial removable prosthetic dental appliances.
• Prescribes and dispenses medication as indicated.
• Administers local anesthesia and analgesia.
• Supervises, trains, and evaluates clinic staff.
• Writes statistical and/or evaluative reports.·
• Other duties needed to help drive our vision, and fulfill our mission, of “The Poor should never be treated poorly”.

Education/Experience:

· Possession of a Delaware Dentistry License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,690.84 - $76,702.95 per year
