About the Ministry

The children’s and youth ministry at All Saints’ Episcopal is well-resourced and ready for growth. With a commitment to the children and youth, the church has developed a healthy foundation that is primed and ready for a children’s and youth ministry developer to step in and build. The ministry is filled with artists and outdoor enthusiasts who are willing to use their outdoor space and creative abilities to enrich the ministries and the church.

 The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is faithful in their commitment to Jesus and holds a high view of Scripture. This candidate has strong relational and communication skills and is capable of establishing robust, sustainable children’s, youth, and engagement ministries. 

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a catalyst for spiritual growth, by example and by articulating faith both in ministry gatherings and through everyday conversations with children, youth, and their families.
• Develop and oversee children’s and youth ministry programming and special events
• Ensure the logistical details of the children's and youth ministry are handled in a professional and timely manner
• Create systems to maintain and regularly update church databases, event calendars, and both internal and external communication

Qualifications

1. General knowledge of Scripture and Christian doctrine
2. A mature prayer life
3. Minimum of 3 years experience in youth or children’s ministry, with a track record of growing disciples
4. Creativity, initiative, adaptability, and resourcefulness
5. Ability to share with others their personal relationship with Jesus
6. Adherence to All Saints’ traditional Christian teaching regarding marriage and sexuality
