Teaching Assistants support teachers in leading Mandarin school classrooms for students aged 3.5 and above. There is potential for this role to transition into a Teacher position in the near future. Please attach your Resume/CV and any applicable academic transcripts in your application.

We currently have two openings, teaching elementary and kindergarten aged children. Classes are held on Saturday mornings 9:30-12.

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging, age appropriate lessons using provided curriculum
• Establish classroom management utilizing positive coaching
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
• Encourage positive social interactions that are joyful and respectful
• Participate in community-building events and works well in a team environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree, preferably in education
• Must be bilingual English/Mandarin Chinese
• Fluency in Traditional Mandarin Chinese with Traditional Phonics
• Prior experience with 3.5 age group
• Must have work authorization in US (We do not sponsor VISAs)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
