Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints
Skills:
- Proficient in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for patrons
- Basic understanding of retail math for calculating prices, discounts, and tips
- Hospitality mindset to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers
