Mindshow is seeking a Sr Producer to join our team! This role is responsible for leading our production process and ensuring successful delivery of our shows. Our Sr Producer will maintain clear channels of communication between our Production and Creative teams (including external vendors) while ensuring we meet our creative and budgetary goals. 

Must be able to work onsite in Downtown Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities

• Owning and maintaining production schedules for multiple projects, including managing and coaching a small production team to hit deadlines

• Tracking deliverables through pipelines and keeping the team motivated

• Managing talent, crew, and contractor engagement (including contractor hiring, negotiating, contracts, and onboarding)

• Overseeing day-to-day communications and processes between the internal team & external vendors 

• Building trust and positive relationships across all teams

• Identifying difficulties and driving improvements

• Building and maintaining pipelines and processes to increase team efficiency, effectiveness, and process improvements

• Providing targeted, thoughtful feedback to improve and support the production team

• Tracking team performance metrics including overall team velocity, project health, & progress towards project goals

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in animation and/or games production

• Knowledge of CG Animation pipeline

• Proven ability to manage multiple small projects simultaneously

• Experience partnering with external vendors

• Experience with production tracking software (JIRA, Confluence, Shotgrid/Flow, etc.)

• Experience managing budgets and staff resource plans

• Excellent communication skills, whether collaborating via Slack, email, or face-to-face
