Duties & Responsibilities
- Work directly with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to implement behavior intervention plans
- Provide one-on-one behavioral therapy sessions to clients
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Assist in conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Implement strategies to promote skill development and independence in daily living activities
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and techniques
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies
- Ability to follow medical documentation procedures accurately
- Experience working with children in a therapeutic or educational setting
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation tools and assessments
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to autism and developmental disorders
