Job Duties:
Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional
Explaining what will happen during the CT scan to patients
Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images
Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging
Examining images to ensure they're usable
Education/Certifications & Licenses:
1 year CT Technologist experience, Relevant Equipment.
A certification in CT issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. BLS preferred.
