Job Description

At Mindbowser, automations and digital experience is the focus. To help us building automated systems that improve the customer experience, we’re looking for a DevOps engineer who can be responsible for deploying applications, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers’ needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering and be familiar with Ruby or Python, preferably with Suse Rancher experience and will work with developers and engineers to ensure that software development follows established processes and works as intended.

Objectives of this role

• Building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Perform Code reviews for the automations implemented as code
• Implementing security and automating the security scanning process to analyze the risks and compliance issues
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

Responsibilities

• Deploy updates and fixes, and provide technical support
• Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
• Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
• Develop scripts to automate visualization
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

Qualifications

• 2 years of Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
• Experience in one of the cloud DevOps and architectures(AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Good knowledge of Ruby or Python
• Experience in Dockers and Kubernetes
• Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Experience in setting up monitoring tools like Prometheus, Kibana
• Experience or knowledge of Suse Rancher or NeuVector
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• Problem-solving attitude

Preferred skills and qualifications

•  Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
•  Preferable Suse Rancher certification or any cloud DevOps certification
