We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team and help us provide exceptional care to our patients. Experience in interventional psychiatry is highly preferred, particularly in the administration of ketamine infusion therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions: You will work with patients to assess their mental health status, identify underlying issues and disorders, and determine the best course of treatment.
  • Developing treatment plans that include medication management, therapy, and other interventions: Based on your diagnosis and assessment, you will create individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, psychotherapy, and other treatments.
  • Prescribing medication as needed and monitoring patients for side effects and efficacy: As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, you will prescribe medications as necessary and monitor patients for any side effects or changes in their condition.
  • Providing individual and group therapy to patients with mental health conditions: You will work with patients to provide individual and group therapy to address their mental health concerns.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare providers, including therapists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to coordinate patient care: You will work with a team of mental health professionals to coordinate care for patients, ensuring that they receive the best possible treatment.
  • Educating patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options: As a key member of our team, you will educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and how to manage their mental health.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in nursing with a psychiatric nurse practitioner specialization: You must have a master's or doctorate degree in nursing with a specialization in psychiatric nursing.
  • Current, active state nursing license and board certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in psychiatric nursing: You must have at least three years of experience in psychiatric nursing.
  • Knowledge of mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication management:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Commitment to providing quality, compassionate care to patients: You must be dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients.
