Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with meal preparation and cooking according to dietary needs and restrictions
  • Help with light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and organizing the client's living space
  • Monitor and record vital signs, medication reminders, and medical documentation as required
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
  • Assist clients with errands and transportation as neede

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with clients
  • Strong attention to detail in documenting medical records and observations
  • Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures
  • Ability to adapt to the specific needs of each client, including those with special needs or medical conditions

Requirements:

  • HHA Certificate or CNA license (Preferred, not required)
  • Driver's License and Second form of ID
  • Valid CPR (Preferred, not required)
  • TB/PPD Test (Preferred, not required)
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Vehicle Insurance
