Overview

Procures any and all materials, both raw materials and supplier finished goods, with:

  • Any and all suppliers providing the utmost quality and standards of performance, which meet or exceed all Minco standards,
  • Any and all suppliers providing predicable timeliness and honorable performance in all facets of business,
  • Any and all suppliers providing consistent, predictable dependable, and speed of delivery, which are acute enhancements, enrichments and improvements to Minco, and
  • Constant improvement in supplier cost-to-Minco benefit,

always in conscious awareness and relentless commitment to the paramount performance in all facets of Minco business.

Responsibilities

Role:

  • Constantly and comprehensively improves Minco’s suppliers, third-party providers, and vendors, always integrating quality, delivery, client service, and cost – value benefits to Minco.
  • Ensures all raw materials, third-party finished goods and components, and services provided by suppliers effectively support, fulfill, and improve upon Minco standards of excellence in quality, delivery, performance, innovation, capabilities, and service offerings.
  • Procures any and all raw materials, components and third-party finished goods timely, professionally, comprehensively, and competently with Minco profit-mindedness, benefit-return, and company ease of use always prevalent.
  • Regularly and routinely evaluates, assesses, jettisons, and/or adds suppliers based on: timeliness, speed and dependability of delivery, exceptional service, and continual performance of the utmost quality standards which meet or exceed all Minco expectations.
  • Proactively enhances and expands all supplier providers, both by depth and breadth, ensuring there are a minimum of three (3) qualified, approved, and certified suppliers for all Minco goods and services in every facet of our business.
  • Successfully anticipates, forecasts, and proactively implements both new and existing suppliers, supplier offerings, purchasing volumes, and purchasing frequency.
  • Possesses a keen awareness and perpetual learning of global, continental, international, country, providence, national, and regional trends in markets and technology, in all facets of Minco business.
  • Thoroughly collaborates and works closely with Supplier Quality Engineers to manage, implement, and maintain Certified Suppliers and Programs; ensuring timely, competent, comprehensive, cost-effective solutions are provided by any and all suppliers, third-party providers, and vendors to Minco, as approved by Management.
  • Successfully implements all external and internal constituent programs timely, professionally, competently, and profitably, as approved by Management.
  • Timely, professionally, competently, and profitably solves any and all supplier, third-party provider, and vendor inquiries and challenges, as approved by Management.
  • Successfully and timely implements all company program and service offerings approved by the collaborative work of Management, Engineering, Quality, and Product Marketing, as approved by Management.
  • Implements, monitors, and communicates timely all client/customer projects, programs, and orders, as provided by suppliers, third-party providers, and vendors, to their successful and timely completion.
  • Maintains and continually updates the Approved Supplier List (ASL), by determining and enforcing the required suppliers, third-party providers, and vendors process development, validations, and qualifications.
  • Implements company profitable growth strategies for any/all suppliers, third-party providers, and vendors.
  • Proactively solves opportunities and challenges by implementing actionable solutions ensuring company profit, revenue and growth objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Successfully identifies and creates opportunities to expand our company product and service offerings with suppliers, third-party providers, and vendors.
  • Performs other duties as identified.

  • Competent and proficient with all Microsoft applications, ERP systems, and an ability to learn more.

Work Experience:

A minimum of three (3) years working in a similar role at a business-to-business manufacturing company with diverse product and service solutions.

Education:

Associate, Bachelor, or Master Degree in Business, Business Management, or Liberal Arts.

Work Environment:

  • General office environment
  • Domestic and/or International Travel might be twenty percent or more, as needed.
