Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter/Laborer to join our team. As a Painter/Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to painting and general labor in construction projects. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement. Responsibilities: - Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks - Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray guns - Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results - Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas - Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment - Assist with general labor tasks such as moving materials, cleaning work areas, and operating hand tools - Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment Experience: To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experience: - Previous experience in construction painting or related field - Knowledge of drywall repair, caulking, plastering, and trim carpentry - Familiarity with hand tools used in construction projects - Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications - Basic understanding of frame carpentry and welding is a plus - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team We offer competitive pay based on experience and skills.
