The Milwaukee Public Schools is seeking an experienced and talented leader for the district level position of Chief Officer, Board Governance. The main responsibility is to act as the clerk, parliamentarian and records custodian for the Milwaukee Board of School Directors.
Other key responsibilities include: planning, organizing and oversight of all Board governance affairs, including constituent issues, legislative policy and business functions; coordinating and communicating with nine elected Directors, the Superintendent and the Senior Director of Accountability and Efficiency; keeping the Board and the other chief executive officers apprised of issues relating to policy, staff, governmental relations and any other issues or legal matters that impact the performance or perception of the District.
The expected salary range is $165,000-$196,000
