Camp Counselors at Camp Rise are responsible for creating a safe and enjoyable environment for campers aged 10-13. They lead and participate in a variety of recreational activities, promote camper growth and development, and ensure the overall success of the camp program. Camp Counselors must possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for working with children.

• Supervise and ensure the safety of campers during all camp activities, including field trips, sports, games, and arts and crafts.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate recreational programs and activities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes camper growth and development.
• Serve as a role model for campers by exhibiting professionalism, leadership, and a positive attitude.
• Assist in the daily setup, cleanup, and maintenance of camp facilities and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and other staff members.
• Follow and enforce camp rules, policies, and safety guidelines.

• Previous experience working with children in a camp or recreational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in youth programming.
• Ability to engage and connect with campers of varying ages and backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
