Our client, a leader in steel production, is seeking exceptional Maintenance Technicians to join their ranks. Position: Electrical Technician
Location: Charleston, WV
Compensation: $80-100K (includes bonus and profit sharing)
Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on steel mill equipment and systems
  • Propose and implement innovative solutions to challenges in the steel making process
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand and apply electrical schematics
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics, centralized lubrication systems, alignments, power transmission, and pumps/piping (for mechanical techs)
  • Demonstrate knowledge of high and low voltage electrical systems, programmable logic controllers, instrumentation, AC/DC variable freq drives, and motors controls systems (for electrical techs)
  • Train teammates on new equipment and/or modifications to existing equipment
  • Build a strong safety culture through implementation of safety protocols with high levels of integrity and ownership in everything you do
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years industrial maintenance/electrical experience.
  • Fundamental Mechanical/Electrical Theory knowledge
  • Experience Troubleshooting Systems
