Milne Fruit is Hiring an Accounting Director Near Grandview, WA
Milne Fruit Products, Inc. is in search of an Accounting Director to provide hands-on leadership and oversight to a multi-entity accounting department. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Accounting Director will work closely with the Assistant Controller and Division Managers to ensure accurate and timely reporting of accounting records.

• Ability to work collaboratively with financial and operational team members.
• Able to prioritize projects and monitor progress to meet deadline expectations.
• Must be reliable and accountable and possess a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
• Daily maintenance of accounting records to ensure accuracy.
• Management and oversight of accounting sub departments as assigned.
• Supervision of direct reports (as assigned) to ensure efficient operation of their departments and their staff.
• Assist in the preparation of budgetary and transactional accounting reports as needed by both Executive and Division management.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist in financial audits.
• Completion of special projects as assigned.
Education/Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
• 3 years of overall combined accounting and/or financial experience required.
• CPA required.
• General knowledge of accounting processes and procedures is essential.
• Prior experience with agriculture and/or food processing operations preferred.
