Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented busser/dishwasher to join our team. As a busser/dishwasher, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, cleaning tables of debris, dishes, silverware, etc., and ensuring a positive dining experience. If you have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas before guests are seated
• Decorate tables with candles, napkins, linens and flowers
• Place tableware and condiments on tables
• Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
• Provide special silverware sets to families with young children
• Clean and reset tables after guests leave
• Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
• Exhibit oneself in a professional manner with appearance and communication
• Assist with dish washing and all other duties as needed

Requirements and skills

• Work experience as a Busser, Dish Washer or other entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus but not required.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
• Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• ServSafe or Madison County food handler card

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
