DEPT # 1025 | DEPARTMENT NAME: MZ Installation | POSITION TITLE: Overnight Retail Installer FLSA: EXEMPT Job Class: PROFESSIONAL |
POSITION SUMMARY: The Overnight Retail Installer will begin to understand the overall process of installing in retail environments, follow and implement defined Safety practices to ensure safe job site, and will be direct representation of Company in the field. The Entry Level Helper will become familiar with operating and working in a scissor lift.
POSITION COMPETENCIES: Responsibilities associated with each position are a combination of organization-wide and department specific standards. Competencies are evaluated initially during each employee’s Introductory Period using the on boarding plan and manager observations. Thereafter, competencies are assessed on an on-going basis using Pathways.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Custom Pathway (minimum 90 days, self-driven request for Pathways observation)
POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in installation or construction. Proficient with utilizing cell phone(s) or tablet app/web/phone applications, as directed or trained. Proficient with utilizing Outlook, IE and/or Chrome.
Special Skills/Qualifications: Valid driver’s license required, laptop with Microsoft Office, General computer use/knowledge, provide your own basic tools, ability to travel (job is 100% travel).

MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The incumbent must manage stress appropriately; make decisions under pressure; handle multiple priorities, work alone, work with a team, not easily overwhelmed by technology; work in areas that are confined and/or crowded.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: The incumbent will never be exposed to toxins, chemicals, detergents, and extreme temperatures (30degrees F – 115 degrees F), fumes, moving mechanical parts, x-ray/electromagnetic energy, communicable diseases, or gases.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Operating at heights of 15 feet or more, lifting and/or carrying articles.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift and/or push a minimum of 50 pounds with mechanical assistance. This position requires stooping, kneeling, bending, manual dexterity, repetitive hand and arm coordination, finger dexterity, vision acuity both far and near with depth perception. Must be able to operate and perform work in a scissor lift.
