We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. As an orthodontic assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to the orthodontist and our office team. We have two locations (Dover, NH and Exeter, NH) and are hiring for both. We are open Monday through Friday but are flexible with hours worked.

Duties:
- Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Take x-rays (radiology license required)
- Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide post-treatment care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical history
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Skills:
- Proficiency in dental assisting, including knowledge of dental instruments, equipment and knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Strong understanding of infection control practices and HIPAA regulations and guidelines
- Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
