Title Clerk / Accounts Payable Specialist

Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced Titling Clerk / Accounts Payable Specialist.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
  • Pay invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparing disbursements; obtaining authorization of payment.
  • Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
  • Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing stop payments, payments, or adjustments.
  • Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.
  • Maintain financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Verifies data, completes state forms, makes disbursement for taxes and fees, and submits to the state.
  • Processes new car and pre-owned registrations on dealer’s software system
  • Processes pre-owned vehicle title transfers.
  • Maintains error logs.
  • Reconciles license plate inventory schedules as assigned on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Assist Fleet Department sales manager with invoicing / billing.
  • Finalize all Fleet Department sales.
  • Other miscellaneous office tasks and duties as assigned.
  • Schedule : Mondays 10 : 00 am - 7 : 00 pm, Tuesday - Friday 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm with 1 hour lunch period.

Education and / or Experience

High School Diploma or General Education Diploma. Industry experience is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook is required.
