Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our attorneys, assisting with legal research, drafting documents, and managing projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the law and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Assist in drafting legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and pleadings
- Organize and maintain case files and documents
- Coordinate with attorneys to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government agencies
- Assist in document review and analysis
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters
- Utilize iManage or similar document management systems to organize and track files
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven experience as a Paralegal or similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
- Proficient in legal research methods and resources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with contract law and drafting legal documents
- Experience with project management is a plus
