Miller Integrated Solutions is Hiring an Environmental Technician Near Corpus Christi, TX

Job Description: Environmental Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Perform various types of fieldwork, including environmental sample collection and maintenance activities that support the site.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safe work practices
  • Communicate effectively with clients and project team members
  • Complete project deliverables on schedule
  • Work both independently and within a team environment

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications:

  • Valid TWIC Card (must have actual card)
  • Ability to pass DISA Background and drug testing to gain entry into CITGO Refinery
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts when needed including nights, weekends and overtime as business needs dictate
  • Ability to work in a refinery with loud, hazardous conditions, potentially hazardous chemicals and industrial settings.
  • Working in various temperatures and outdoors in all 
  • Previous experience, preferably in refinery setting.
  • Strong safety focus.
  • Valid driver's license, clean MVR
  • Available to travel to different sites as needed
  • Physical fitness for lifting and carrying.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced turnaround environment.
