Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for a Saw Operator position with an Erie, PA based company. This is a 1st shift position with a pay range of $18-22/hour DOE. This is a long-term opportunity with a very solid company.
Saw Operator
Shift: 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday
Pay Range: $18-22 /hour
Screening Process: Company required Math exam, Resume submittal, face to face interview with the company
***Candidates must be open to a criminal background check***
Job Duties
- Operate Horizontal Saw
- Operate Shear Cutting Machine
- Carry out preventative maintenance of cutting department equipment/machines
- Operate Overhead Crane
- Candidate Must have the ability to:
- Work Daily and on time
- Know all the functions and features of cutting department equipment/machines and cranes
- Load and unload machines
- Deburr, pack and ship parts
- Perform first piece inspection an in-process inspections
- Aptitude for Geometry, Algebra and Trigonometry
- Identify and use of appropriate measurement tools
- Communicate effectively with other operators and assistants
- Learn from and follow directions from supervisor
- Complete all required paperwork
- Assume safety policies are strictly adhered to
Education/Experience
Education equivalent to completion of the 12th grade or (1) one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
