Job Summary
We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a Government Property Management Analyst with a specialization in the aerospace and defense industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of government property regulations, policies, and procedures, along with exceptional organizational and communication skills. As a Government Property Analyst, you will be responsible for establishing procedures and managing all aspects of government-owned property, including acquisition, tracking, disposal, and inventory control. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and government officials to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standard.
This position's internal job code is Supplier Program Management. Our team is currently hiring for a level 3.

Job Responsibilities
  • Administers the terms of contract provisions that specify the company's obligations to acquire, control, use, report and dispose of property.
  • Assists in performing audits, writing, and documenting processes and procedures, and investigating and reporting lost or damaged property.
  • Develop and implement procedures for the administration of Government Property in accordance with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).
  • Uses ERP system to manage and report property information.
  • Maintains accountability from initial acquisition to final disposition by coordinating, preparing, and documenting applicable forms to indicate a change of ownership, accountability, or location of property in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts or corporate policy. I don’t agree with this one, as some of this pertains to the Contract Managers.
  • Oversees the physical inventory of property and reconciliation of results to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assists in verifying that property records accurately reflect inventory on hand and equipment servicing requirements are established by responsible organizations.
  • Handles basic property related activities at completion or termination of contract.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure processes align with DMCA & DFAR/FAR regulations.
  • Conduct internal property assessments. External ones are conducted by DCMA.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for government audits and inspections.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff members on government property regulations and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation)
  • 3 years of experience with an inventory management system on a government contract
  • 3 years of experience with property control or asset management
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 or more ears related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Prior government property management experience
  • Experience using a variety of DoD and aerospace industry common property management information system
  • In depth familiarization with DCMA Handbook
Summary Pay-Range
Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only of what is reasonably expected to be paid for the position. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
  • Level 3: $98,600 - $145,000
