Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team. As a Nurse, you will provide nursing oversight, case management, quality assurance, and clinical training, Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being of our clients and organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessments on admission and 45 days nursing revies
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess their condition
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement client care plans
- Educate clients and their the team on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
- Support clients with behavioral health needs in a compassionate manner
- Adhere to occupational health and safety standards
-Provide oversight for medication administration and ensure compliance with all state regulations.
- Oversee and managing the healthcare services provided to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Utilize your expertise in case management to assess, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate patient care
- Assure that nursing case delegation and management provided by nursing is within standards of COMAR 10.27.11, 10.22, and is evidence based best practice
- Utilize your skills in utilization management to conduct audits
- Provide Medication Technician Training to staff
-Oversee Direct Support Staff
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in the State of Maryland
- Proven experience as a Nurse in a healthcare setting with at least 2 years of nursing experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in pediatrics is preferred but not required
