Millennium Print Group is Hiring a Quality Control Technician Near Greensboro, NC

Our unique ability offers a variety of services specializing in trading specialties and collectible cards. Since 2019, MPG has nearly tripled in size.

MPG is seeking to hire experienced Quality Control Technicians to join our growing and profitable company looking to advance their careers. If you possess the required skills and experience as outlined below, please submit your resume for consideration.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs repetitive inspections to identify defects and variations from established standards. Non-conforming observations are communicated immediately to operators on production lines so that quality is built into the products being produced
  • Responsible for documenting conformance and non-conforming issues on a predetermined time frame
  • Identifies incorrect or damaged product before final packaging is completed and sets it aside as a non-conformance product
  • Validates quality processes, measures production standards at critical control points and document findings
  • Files daily audit results at the end of each shift
  • Works with other members of the team to in an accurate and efficient manner that supports operational excellence and total customer satisfaction
  • Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit

Position Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing or industrial business environment
  • Must be very detailed-oriented, computer literate, good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in production within the printing industry would be very desirable
  • Experience with MIS software such as Excel is desired

The hours for this role are 6pm – 6am and the team works on a rotating crew schedule (2-2-3-2). This position will require working every other weekend.
