Piatt Hotel Group is seeking a skilled Plumber to join their regional team. This position will travel locally and primarily focus on the plumbing in our portfolio of hotels/restaurants in the Pittsburgh region. 

As a plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures within our hotels and restaurants.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, laundry facilities, and public areas of the hotel.
• Inspect and diagnose plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs, low water pressure, or faulty fixtures, and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with hotel staff, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient plumbing repairs and installations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning drains, flushing water heaters, and inspecting pipes for corrosion or damage.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints related to plumbing issues, and resolve problems in a courteous and professional manner.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and hours worked.
• Monitor water quality and pressure levels to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Provide guidance and training to hotel staff on proper use and maintenance of plumbing fixtures and equipment.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, plumbing codes, and regulations relevant to the hotel industry.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and storage areas.
• When not working on plumbing duties, this position works on other maintenance related tasks.
