Job Description :

Will be responsible for ensuring a positive patient experience from the beginning to end of the appointment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dermatology and skin care, provide excellent customer service skills, be reliable and professional, and enjoy creating relationships with patients and other staff members.

Job Responsibilities :

• Introduce the patient to our office staff and medical provider.
• Occasionally help with answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, taking accurate messages.
• Participate in phone calls with patients regarding post-procedure care, prescriptions, and other patient questions.
• Check messages and return calls in a timely manner.
• Process patient payments, check insurance coverage.
• Ensure all exam rooms are up to par with medical standards throughout the day.
• Assist doctor with notes using iPad to scribe in the electronic medical record.
• Assist doctor with procedures and surgeries, including drawing up syringes, assisting with laser / surgical procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested by management.
• Protect patient confidentiality, making sure protected health information is secure.
• Sterilizing and cleaning instruments, patient gown / sheet laundry.

Musts :

• Must have patient or customer care experience (medical clinic or retail)
• Bachelor's degree or finishing up Bachelor's degree
• Maintains appropriate appearance that reflects positively and professionally
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Sense of humor and positive attitude

Job Type : Part-time

Pay : $23.00 - $28.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
