Military Technical Recruiting is Hiring an Industrial Electrician Near Columbus, GA

Provide electrical inspections, maintenance, and repair support to the production team in a manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain proficiency in all IP safety requirements (LOTT, Arc Flash, Hot Work, Radar, Lockout Exception Forms, etc)

  • Perform PM inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in support of the production equipment

  • Utilize electrical skills necessary for electrical troubleshooting including PLCs, VFD and DC drives, control circuits, etc

Requirements

  • Electrical or Industrial Electronics Trade School OR military training equivalent

  • 2 years industrial electrical repair experience

  • Capable of skilled troubleshooting with volt meter and schematics

  • Familiarity with DC drives and variable frequency AC drives

  • Program a drive including setting up the initial parameters and troubleshoot PLC controls with a laptop

  • Mechanical maintenance experience (especially hydraulic and pneumatic systems) is a PLUS
