A Production Lead job in Sacramento, CA is available at Milgard Windows and Doors. You must have prior manufacturing experience managing a team. Have a mechanical aptitude with the ability to read a tape measure. In this role, you will assist in the work activities of department employees. Production Lead job responsibilities include:

• Oversee departmental activities per standard operating procedures.
• Work with Shift Supervisor in the assignment and supervision of personnel to achieve an efficient operation at all times.
• Assist Shift Supervisor to see that all manufacturing orders are followed properly to completion and are filled out properly before turning in.
• Assists personnel in analyzing and correcting problems encountered in job assignments to perform work according to standard operating procedures.
• Provide orderly and efficient changeover to the next shift.
• Demonstrate Milgard’s Core Values in all business interactions.
• Support training and development of team members.
• Experience in a Leadership role.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Prior supervisory experience mentoring and motivating a team of individuals
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred
• Compute basic math equations and accurately read a tape measure
• High-level of Mechanical Aptitude
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
• Ability to lift 75 pounds unassisted
