ABOUT US:
Milestone Montessori is a new Montessori school opening in Houston’s Montrose District for children from 3 months through 6 years of age. We are looking for an experienced Montessori director who is passionate about creating a school environment and culture that is authentic to the Montessori Method.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program and activities of Milestone Montessori, in keeping with the mission and vision of the school and the direction as set by the Milestone Montessori administrative team and founders. The Director must represent Milestone Montessori and embody the vision of the school in its relations with faculty, staff, students, families, and the community. The Director will work directly with teachers to develop, implement, and supervise education programs that meet the school's mission, vision, and goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with Enrollment Activities (Open Houses, Information Sessions, etc.)
• Parent/Community Engagement
• Quality Improvement
• Staff Management
• Curriculum and Program Development
• Licensing and Compliance

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience as a director of a Montessori school child-care center.
• Montessori certification from a Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) and extensive experience with Montessori philosophy and curriculum.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
